Haute Ecole Charlemagne

Who are we?

The Haute École Charlemagne (heCh) is one of the six highest education institutions belonging to the Federation Wallonie-Bruxelles.  Formed in 1996 when nineteen university colleges were created by merging century-old higher institutions together, heCh is structured in five departments and located on six campus spread all over in Wallonia (Gembloux, Huy-Bodart, Huy Saint-Victor, Liège, Sart-Tilman, and Verviers).  Furthermore, heCh is collaborating with several partners for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and for some certificates. 450 staff members are dedicated to lecturing, research and community service missions.

Our expertise

Our expertises can be summarised in our 36 degrees but are not limited to the five departments (Agronomy, Biomedical, Economy, Teaching, and Technical) as high level specialists are working with our students.
