Liège in Warhol’s colours

It’s a very particular year in Liège … No, we are not talking about Covid-19, but the presence of the most colourful, the most interesting and the most popular character ! Andy Warhol, the leading figure of Pop Art, will be the star of the new temporary exhibition at the Boverie Museum in Liège!

Until the 18th of April 2021, the exhibition “Warhol. The American Dream Factory” will immerse you in the era of Warhol and will have you discover America from a complete another angle … either by his most famous works, or by rare documents, shown for the very first time. More than a hundred artist’s creations will be displayed with some prestigious personal collections never shown to the public before!

But it is not only about the Boverie Museum, the whole city of Liège will take Warhol’s colours as for the whole duration of the exhibition, cultural institutions prepared different activities in relation with Andy Warhol. Workshop, exhibitions, courses, concerts, debates, there is something for everyone’s taste. Also, in the very heart of the Cité Ardente, a new wall fresco in the likeness of the Pop Art pope has been also created by the artists Soke and Michaël Nikolaï.
